Project PUR
Official Selection Calcutta Cult Film Festival - November 2017
I was born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The island is my home, it's where most of my family still lives, and it's where I plan on raising my children. During the summer, before Hurricane Maria even existed, we were dealing with the fall out of a $128 billion debt crisis. I had the idea of recording myself painting a mural and turning it into a short documentary to raise awareness of how Puerto Ricans are treated as second-class citizens by the United States. Little did I know things were only going to get worse.

Role: Writer / Protagonist / Mural Artist Director: Giano Currie
